Founded in 2006 by a group of professionals with extensive experience in sports management, BPXport is an operator of concessionary sports centers that manages 20 sports centers and 25 contracts for sports management services in Guipúzcoa, Vizcaya, Navarra, Cantabria, Madrid, Valladolid, Valencia, and Granada. BPX manages around 150,000m2 of sports facilities, has approximately 800 employees, and generates annual revenues close to 30 million euros.
With the investment from Sherpa Capital, the incorporation of CDO Almendrera and CDO Covaresa sports centers into the BPXport platform has been formalized. Located in Valladolid, CDO Covaresa is among the largest sports centers in Europe. This operation is part of Sherpa Capital’s strategy to invest in growing companies, focusing mainly on opportunities in sectorial concentration processes and companies in full expansion.

“Sherpa Capital is the ideal partner to accompany us in this new stage of the company’s development where our goal will be to consolidate our presence at the national level, seeking different geographical areas to expand our activity as long as the business plan favors progressive and risk-free growth. The market for sports centers in Spain continues to be very fragmented, and we trust that having the support of an investor with resources, knowledge, and an extensive network of contacts will help us to identify and implement strategies for organic and inorganic growth.”
